I build enterprise software with .NET.

Applications, APIs and system integrations. For 8 years I’ve worked where things can’t afford to stop — from warehouses to a law firm to a professional chamber.

Currently on the team rebuilding the member system at the Istanbul Chamber of Industry.

01 — ABOUT

My approach

I started out in front of barcode scanners, label printers and handheld terminals. Seeing up close what lands on the screens of people working in warehouses, stores and hospitals taught me one thing: good software doesn’t slow down the person using it.

I document the reason behind every change, test it, and have my team review it before it goes live. Working across sectors from law to logistics taught me to weigh technical decisions against business needs.

Selected work

No figures or internal details — just the technical situation, the decision I made and the outcome.

Integration

Moving financial records without losing any

Problem
Records coming from an external source could be acknowledged in the queue before they were processed by our system.
Solution
I proposed and implemented reversing the flow: a record is written to our system first, and only on success is an acknowledgement sent back. If a matching manually entered record exists, no duplicate is created — the incoming one is linked to it. A concurrent second write is rolled back by a database constraint within a single transaction.
Outcome
No record is acknowledged without being processed; records that fail stay in the queue and are retried, and the backlog has been cleared.

Integration

Case and court-notice tracking from UYAP

Problem
Lawyers searched UYAP (Türkiye’s national judicial information system) case by case for files, hearings and notices, and entered dates into their calendars by hand.
Solution
I built an integration that automatically pulls case details, hearing schedules and case history, tracks electronic notices, records the service date and attaches documents to the relevant case. I connected it to the calendar and to client notifications.
Outcome
Service dates are no longer entered by hand; deadlines flow into the calendar automatically.

.NET · TypeScript · SQL

Modernization

Keeping two identities apart during a migration

Problem
The new and legacy systems identified the same user with different IDs; the two had to stay separate throughout the migration.
Solution
I proposed and implemented a deliberate separation: operations that write to the legacy system now take the legacy ID from the session. If it’s missing, they fall back to the old behaviour — so sessions open during deployment didn’t break.
Outcome
Throughout the migration both systems match each record to the right person; the change was verified with tests before going live.

04 — EXPERIENCE

Experience

  • Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO)

    Sep 2024 – Present

    Senior Software Engineer

I’m on the team rebuilding the organisation’s long-standing member system. I develop across membership, finance, committees, HR and reporting, and also handle maintenance of the existing system and data exchange with external institutions.

  • Arıtürk & Partners Law Firm

    May 2024 – Sep 2024

    Senior Software Engineer

I was responsible for the firm’s software and IT processes and led technical coordination for a four-person development team. I built internal systems across legal, accounting, social security and customs: UYAP integration, calendar, meeting records, staff tracking and client notifications.

  • Freelance

    Jan 2023 – May 2024

    Web & Mobile Developer

I built websites, web applications and native Android apps in Kotlin for companies across various sectors, running the process from gathering requirements to delivery.

  • Amonsis

    Jan 2022 – Jan 2023

    Software Engineer

I worked on production, logistics and inventory processes for large companies: systems that print product labels, scan barcodes and track location via RFID, plus inventory automation. I owned the process from installation to maintenance.

  • Setsis Bilişim Teknolojileri

    Aug 2019 – Jan 2022

    Software Engineer

This is where I entered the world of barcode and RFID. For retail, manufacturing, healthcare and logistics companies I built handheld-terminal warehouse management (WMS), inventory and production tracking software, as well as B2B and e-commerce applications, web services and reporting.

  • Hg Yazılım ve Bilişim A.Ş.

    Sep 2018 – May 2019

    Junior Software Developer

My first job. I built applications and web services supporting inventory tracking and business processes for retail and manufacturing companies, working both on site and in the office and learning how the work runs end to end.

Education

  • Istanbul University

    2018

    Bachelor’s degree, Business Administration

Understanding business processes helps me see why the systems I build exist.

  • BilgeAdam Academy

    2018 – 2019

    Software Developer Programme

Completed Microsoft Official Courses (MOC 20480 and 20486): web technologies and ASP.NET MVC.
